There are many different ways to support and strengthen your mental well-being in your studies. Remember that the University and other organisations are here to support you in both small and big matters. See below for a list of support services, activities and links.

Useful pages in the Studies Service

  • Mental Well-being page lists helpful services that you can explore according to your needs. You can find services from the university, organizations, and the public sector on the page.
  • Support for studies page provides tips for smooth studying as well as advice on issues such as lack of motivation and time management problems.
  • Guidance Compass page helps you find the right help regardless of your situation. It's easy to start solving your problems from the page, so it's worth bookmarking it in your browser!
  • Are you perhaps returning to your studies after a longer break? The checklist for returning students will help you prepare for the situation.

Well-being services and activities at the university

  • Well-being events page lists low-threshold events, workshops, and discussion sessions organized by the University and its partners.
  • The University organises courses and groups to support your well-being and study skills.
  • The study psychologists provide support if your studies have been stuck for a long time or if you have concerns about coping, motivation, nervousness, productivity, and concentration.
  • The university chaplains offer a safe space for everyone, regardless of your religious conviction, gender or sexual orientation.

Other organisations offering support
